En 1997 fue investigadora visitante en el instituto Max Planck de Mathematik en Alemania, profesora asistente de investigación TH Hildebrandt en la Universidad de Michigan, entre 1996 y 1999, y en 1999 fue investigadora visitante en el Instituto de Matemáticas Luminy en Francia.
