President Trump has signed a new travel ban barring citizens of 12 countries from entering the United States. The ban applies to Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen and the Republic of Congo. A federal appeals court struck down most of President Trump’s sweeping tariffs Friday, saying they have no legal basis. The decision could undo many of Trump’s tariffs from “Liberation Day” in April, as well as earlier tariffs against Canada, Mexico and China. President Trump signed an order authorizing the deployment of National Guard troops to Memphis, Tennessee, on Monday.
