Pediatric physician Dr. Alaa al-Najjar had just begun work in the emergency room at Nasser Medical Complex when she was suddenly called to return to her home in Khan Younis. An unvaccinated child has died of measles, Texas officials announced Wednesday, the first death from measles in the United States in a decade.
