In this first lecture of the cycle devoted to Salvador Dalí (Figueres, 1904-1989), Estrella de Diego, essayist, academic and professor of Contemporary Art, explores Dalí's early years, his arrival in Madrid to study at the San Fernando Academy, his relations with Lorca and Buñuel at the "Residencia de Estudiantes", his first writings and his passion for cinema. The lecturer shows that the pictorial production of the Empordà artist during these years prefigures the way in which the person and the artist he was to become began to take shape.
