Marcus Pivato: Matemático Canadiense. Obtuvo la licencia en Matemáticas en 1994 por la Universidad de Alberta, y en 2001 obtuvo el doctorado en Matemáticas por la Universidad de Toronto.
Fue profesor en el Departamento de Matemáticas de la Universidad de Trent, Canadá.
