Buster Keaton asks the father of the woman he loves for her hand in marriage, but the father wants to see Keaton make something of himself first.
"I'll leave for the city to make good. If I'm not a success, I'll come back and shoot myself," Buster declares, which is a perfectly acceptable arrangement as far as the father is concerned.
So Keaton heads off for the big city and tries his hand at a number of different jobs.
But his letters to his girl suggest more noble and enterprising careers than those he's actually attempting.

His favourite pasttime is a 1914 in film American comedy film starring Charlie Chaplin. Charlie gets drunk in the bar. He steps outside, meets a pretty woman, tries to flirt with her, only to retreat after the woman's father returns. Returning to the bar, Charlie drinks some more and engages in rogue behaviors with others. He finally leaves the bar, sees the woman leaving, follows the woman home, and proceeds to make a nuisance of himself, eventually getting kicked out of the house.

Glimpy's surprisingly beautiful sister (Ava Gardner) is getting married to Jack (Rick Vallin), a young engineer, and moving to a 'bargain' suburban house neither has ever seen. During the honeymoon, the East Side Kids decide to fix up the house for the newlyweds...but mistakenly pick the 'haunted' house next door, which is occupied by some mysterious live men (Bela Lugosi), dodging in and out of secret panels and clearly up to no good

A mashup of "Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet," "Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Women," and "Battle Beyond the Sun," with some primitive special effects thrown in. Apologies for the quality of the dubbing, neither I nor my equipment are ready for the studio :)
