To the shores of Iwo Jima is a 1945 in film Kodachrome color short war film produced by the United States Navy and United States marine corps. It documents the battle of Iwo Jima, and was the first time that American audiences saw in color the footage of the raising the flag on Iwo Jima.

An early sound film adventure/melodrama in which a dirigible expedition to the South Pole is complecated by a love triangle. Surprisingly good production values and visual FX for a Tiffany production. However the audio FX are very primitive. Directed by Edward Sloman.

Su trabajo consiste, a través de montajes fotográficos, en hacer una comparativa que despierte en el espectador el sentimiento que pretende transmitir con sus composiciones.
