En octubre de 2022, la presidenta y cofundadora de Igualdad Animal, Sharon Núñez, se unió a otros activistas en la cumbre AVA-Animal & Vegan Advocacy-Summit en Washington DC. Esta serie de conferencias fue creada para inspirar a los defensores de los animales y proporcionarles oportunidades de aprendizaje y creación de redes para trabajar juntos para crear un mundo sin explotación animal.
