Israel’s military has issued new evacuation orders for neighborhoods of Gaza City as Israeli ground forces pushed deeper into the Gaza Strip’s largest urban area. More than 1.4 million federal employees missed their first full paychecks on Friday as the government shutdown enters its fifth week.
