Las aves, animales, insectos, peces, volvieron al lugar reforestado, trabajo que les tomó 18 años, en Brasil. Una lucha contra el cambio climático que dio sus frutos. La pareja fundó el Instituto Terra, que busca restaurar los bosques nativos y aguas de toda la zona, ya han sembrado dos millones de árboles. Las viviendas quemadas sumen a los adultos y los niños en un estado de desesperación. Entre el barro y la miseria, se preguntan: “¿Valdrá la pena levantar esto otra vez?”.
