La ciudad de Lota se desarrolla y vive 150 años gracias a las minas de carbón. Durante los años cuando aún la mina estaba en plena actividad, filmamos el documental "Los Mineros del Carbón". Seis años después la mina de Lota cerró para siempre. Volvimos en 1999 a esta ciudad que fue tan profundamente minera y en la cual aún se mezcla continuamente el pasado y para reencontrar a los personajes que conocimos hace 10 años. Para confrontar también sus recuerdos con un presente difícil y sin sueños colectivos.

In 1927, Harman and Ising were still working for the Walt Disney Studios on a series of live-action/animated short subjects known as the Alice Comedies. The two animators created Bosko in 1927 to capitalize on the new "talkie" craze that was sweeping the motion picture industry.
