Tras muchos años, Biyan vuelve a Irán para ver a sus viejos amigos, Ali y Said. Juntos recuerdan a sus antiguos compañeros ya fallecidos, Aban y Kave. Aban deja de pintar para trabajar en un banco y ganarse la vida, pero se entera de que tenía cáncer y no le dice nada a Kave de su grave enfermedad. Kave muere antes que Aban. Los tres amigos empiezan a recordar viejas historias del pasado.
