The 27th First Annual Ig Nobel Prize Ceremony, held on September 14th, 2017, introduced ten new Ig Nobel Prize winners - Each has done something that makes people laugh then think. Winners traveled to the ceremony, at their own expense, from around the world to receive their prize from a group of genuine, genuinely bemused Nobel Laureates, in Harvard's historic and largest theater.

Häxan (Danish title: Heksen; English title: The Witches or Witchcraft Through The Ages) is a 1922 Swedish/Danish Silent film horror film written and directed by Benjamin Christensen. Based partly on Christensen's study of the Malleus Maleficarum, a 15th-century German guide for inquisition, Häxan is a study of how superstition and the misunderstanding of diseases and mental illness could lead to the hysteria of the witch-hunts.

El Gran Dictador fue un proyecto casi personal de Chaplin, filmado en pleno ascenso de Hitler en Alemania y sin apoyo de la industria de Hollywood, que mantenía lazos importantes con Alemania y cuando todo occidente miraba para otro lado, apostando a que el dictador alemán sería la llave para acabar con la Unión Soviética.
