In Giappone, dietro l’iper-modernità si nasconde un mondo di riti e misteri irrisolti. Tra questi va certamente citato il Buto, emerso negli anni ‘60 come reazione ai codici artistici tradizionali. La narrazione evocata da questa ‘danza delle tenebre’ è popolata di fantasmi, da sempre presenza fissa nella vita quotidiana nipponica. Tra horror ed estasi, l'arte diventa una porta dell’immaginazione.
