La película narra la historia de Yunes, quien se alista para ir a la guerra. Su madre, Olfat, pasa amargos momentos en su ausencia, esperando que un día su hijo regrese a casa. Ella no sabe si su hijo ha sido tomado prisionero o ha muerto en la guerra.
