La película nos traslada a los primeros días después del triunfo de la Revolución Islámica de Irán en 1979, precisamente a la región de Kurdistán. Doctor Mostafa Chamran, una figura prominente de la Revolución Islámica entra en la región con el objetivo de resolver el conflicto cuando antes, bajo un orden estatal.
Debido a su carácter pacifista, Chmran intenta abrir el dialogo con ambos lados del conflicto, pero ni Asghar el comandante de los Guardianes de la Revolución, ni el Dr. Enayati líder de los separatistas aceptan sus condiciones.
