Low-budget Haunted House Horror Movie about 5 people who spend the night at old house where two people were murdererd. Its a little amateurish, but is fairly creepy and even a little scary

Blacksmiths' assistant inadvertent clowning around in the shop, gets into fight with the smithy who is then arrested and placed in jail. In the meantime, the assistant tries to help several customers with devastating comedic consequences.

But, it is a bit rough at first, as these two society swells expect their old servants to behave like servants--but considering they're no longer paying them, this doesn't last.

The picture was directed by George Stevens, written by Martha Cheavens and Morrie Ryskind, and depicts the story of a loving couple who must overcome adversity to keep their marriage and raise a child.
