Programmi di intrattenimento, spot pubblicitari, cartellonistica, carta stampata usano tutti gli stessi stereotipi come fossero rivolti evidentemente a un pubblico solo maschile ed eterosessuale.

En el barrio de Bellavista se encuentra el restaurante Las Tinajas, donde se hace un plato típico de Panama: el Sancocho peronomeño, cuyos ingredientes son gallina y ñame. De este último ingrediente veremos un microprograma donde se hace historia del ñame, su producción y sus clases.
