"El fin del juego" narra la historia de un decadente pseudoburgués santiaguino que malgasta la fortuna de su esposa en bares y juegos. Al quedar en la quiebra, su esposa intenta mantener el hogar, mientras él continúa con la misma actitud que lo lleva a meterse en problemas y terminar en la cárcel.
