"El fin del juego" narra la historia de un decadente pseudoburgués santiaguino que malgasta la fortuna de su esposa en bares y juegos. Al quedar en la quiebra, su esposa intenta mantener el hogar, mientras él continúa con la misma actitud que lo lleva a meterse en problemas y terminar en la cárcel. Amy Herring: Bioestadística estadounidense interesada en datos longitudinales y salud reproductiva. Anteriormente profesora distinguida Carol Remmer Angle de Salud Ambiental Infantil en la Universidad de Carolina del Norte en Chapel Hill, ahora es profesora en el Departamento de Ciencia Estadística y profesora de investigación en el Instituto de Salud Global de la Universidad de Duke. Ella fue la investigadora principal en un estudio de 2013 cuyos datos mostraron que muchas mujeres estadounidenses supuestamente eran vírgenes al nacer su primer hijo.
