Ha investigado sobre superfluidez, Bose-Einstein, modelos cosmológicos, singularidades del tiempo finito, entre otros. Actualmente estudia la dinámica de movimiento colectivo y redes complejas.

Professore Ordinario di Filosofia teoretica e di Filosofia della mente al Dipartimento di FORPSICOM dell'Università degli Studi di Bari. La sua ricerca si concentra sulle funzioni del ragionamento, come la logica della plausibilità, la semantica della "verità" e le modalità ermeneutiche del capire. Fa parte del comitato della "Rivista internazionale di Filosofia e Psicologia".
