Paga soltanto lo scotto di una fotografia che non trova un suo equilibrio tra luci ancora troppo impostate e un trucco e parrucco anche quello troppo ingessato, ma sono mancanze in buonafede e dovute a forze maggiori nelle produzioni dell'epoca. Per il resto, c'è ben poco da dire, se non stupirsi di fronte all'ennesima performance mostruosa di Brando e a un'opera di altissimo livello.
