Víktor Yákushev, teniente coronel retirado ruso, vuelve a Egipto 50 años después de su primera estancia. En 1971 llegó al país junto con otros militares soviéticos para proteger los cielos egipcios de los ataques aéreos israelíes. El armamento enviado a Egipto por la URSS, especialmente los cazas MiG, jugaron un papel decisivo para la defensa del Estado.
