Guardate che meraviglia. Avete visto il gatto?
I gatti sono magici, pensate che la sola presenza di un gatto in questo quadro fu in grado di suscitare scalpore e cambiarne il significato.
Per molti di noi i gatti, indipendenti, ma dolcissimi, sono un simboli di vero amore. Ma in passato non è sempre stato così e oggi sappiamo che la storia del gatto è stata assai travagliata.
Il quadro che vi ho mostrato è di Édouard Manet, fu pensato nel 1863 per suscitare scalpore e ci riuscì.

Quella alla quale stiamo assistendo, è una lotta tra opposte fazioni all'interno degli Usa per determinare chi avrà, nei prossimi anni, il controllo del mondo. Lo sfruttamento delle popolazioni nere non è mai terminato e questa ne è l'ennesima dimostrazione.
